This is a great way to make use of any homespun squares left over from your quilt projects.  Just stitch them onto a homespun kitchen towel using a small tight stitch, clip the seam allowances and wash to fray the edges.  Embellish or decorate with buttons.

Homespun kitchen towels may be found at many gift/antique stores or may be purchased here at Jubilee Homespun.   Holiday gift towels with holiday embellishments may also be purchased here.  (towels will be available mid February 2007)

Materials:

2 - 4" homespun quilt squares*

1 homespun kitchen towel

 buttons for embellishment

* You may cut your own squares or  purchase them on this website or on eBay, but be sure you get HOMESPUN fabric squares.  Regular cotton does not fray well.
