This is a great simple project especially for ragged style beginners. In this primitive placemat and napkin set, the placemat was stitched in the standard rag block style using four different homespun fabrics. The matching napkins are a single layer of homespun fabric with the edges stitched to secure them. Then a couple of small ragged patches were added to the napkins for decoration.
